Several years ago I had the pleasure of traveling to Europe for few days. I was in Budapest for 7 hours and I remembered this city as a beautiful place with a lot of majestic buildings. I had not enough time for all sights visiting and now I only dream about Budapest visiting again. I was surprised that Budapest is actually made up of two cities, Buda and Pest. Most of the famous historical structures are in Pest. Budapest-ZooToday I want to know something new about this amazing Europian city and to share it with you.
If you like animals you should visit the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden. This place is perfect for animals lovers and it is one of the oldest zoos in the world. In Budapest Zoo you can see more than 2000 animals from the African savannah to the arctic area. There are several tours in the Zoo: for children, for families, for adults… There is a special animal petting area here – a perfect place for a good time with children.

Are you a music fan? So visit Budapest in August. About 400 000 people from all over the world rush to the Sziget Festival every year in August. The week-long celebration of music is named after the Shipyard Island where the festival is held.
