The whole city is like one huge medieval castle.
In the south of the Czech Republic, where the Vltava River makes a noose, a beautiful city of Cesky Krumlov is situated. It is famous first of all for its stunningly beautiful castle complex that is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
It attracts active recreation enthusiasts, fans of festivals, and romantic couples.
To visit Cesky Krumlov means to visit the Fairy Tale Land. The legends come to life here at every step – in the castles, parks, over the river, on narrow streets and in the salt caves.
And it seems that to meet a gnome at night, carrying a gold bullion home, is really possible because it’s Cesky-Krumlov!
All the streets in the city are cobbled.
There are regularly held fairs in the style of the Renaissance, as well as an incomparable Festival of Roses.

The city stands on the Vltava Riveran. It is an ideal place for rafting enthusiasts.
The only catch is that for a normal life here it is necessary at least to learn the Czech language.
