This beautiful lake is actually an oasis in the desert, located just six kilometers from the city of Dunhuang in Gansu province. It really fascinates, especially if you traveled all day under the scorching sun and eventually saw this amazing green corner. Unfortunately, nowadays the lake reduced in size, despite all the measures taken by the government and caring people.

The bell tower in the city of Pisa has become known worldwide due to unintentional tilt. This landmark is still called falling, although the tower ceased to bend in 2008. The authorities are constantly concerned about the strengthening of the tower: columns are often restored, the foundation is being strengthened. Here you can not only take a photo as if you are holding the tower (absolutely all tourists coming here to have such a photo), but also go inside the tower.

Uluru, Australia

Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is one of the main natural attractions of Australia, to visit which more than 400 thousand people come every year. The rock changes its color depending on the time of day and the light, and can vary from bright orange to dark lilac. Ancient Aboriginal drawings have been preserved on the rock, and the whole place hides a lot of old stories and legends. Therefore, be sure to visit Uluru with a guide, who will help you get to know a lot of interesting things about this wonderful place.

Here you should definitely listen to the famous Catholic choir: singing chills to the depths of the soul. This is a place of incredible luxury and beauty. It is worth coming here to see with your own eyes the design of the chapel, as many of the greatest artists worked on it, including Michelangelo, Pinturicchio and Botticelli.

Monument Valley, a park on the reserve territory of the Navajo Indian tribe, is a unique geological formation, a sandy vase-plateau. There are huge rocky boulders and dunes, the height of which reaches 300 meters. Indians conduct excursions to the valley for thousands of tourists visiting the state of the art every day. It is interesting to to see the local nature of the valley as well as the settlements of indigenous people. They live on the territory of Monument Valley permanently – without electricity, running water and other benefits of civilization.

Vasco da Gama Bridge, Portugal

In the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, you can see the bridge, looking at which it is difficult to believe that it is man-made. This cable-stayed bridge across the Tejo River is the longest in Europe. When you look at it, it impresses with its scope, size. But you should not be afraid: the bridge was designed so that it can withstand the wind at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour as well as the strongest earthquakes.

Mayan Ruins, Mexico

In Mexico, you can find many archaeological finds related to the Mayan civilization, but it is especially interesting to look at the ruins of ancient temples. But to inspect at least some of them, you will have to travel a lot. The most popular places are Bekan in Campeche, Bonampak in Chiapas, Chakchoben in Quintana Roo and especially Chichen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula.

Devils Tower, United States

The Devils Tower, or Devil’s Tower, is a monolith of volcanic origin in Wyoming. Age of the Devil’s Tower is between 195-225 million years. Climbers often come here to conquer the Devils Tower. It is difficult and exciting at the same time. If you want to climb it, do not plan a trip for June. Locals consider the mountain sacred and object to the June ascents.

This place even in life is like a picture from a commercial about paradise holidays. There are not many tourists here, so you can take a break from people, take a walk along the snow-white beaches and enjoy swimming in the clear water. It is not easy to get to the islands, but those who have been there claim that it is worth it: the nature is unique and not touched by man.

Fiordland Park, New Zealand

In the National Park “Fiordland” you can go on a boat cruise, play paintball, ride kayaks and bicycles, take a sightseeing flight, go fishing and do a lot of other family activities. And all this in the largest park in New Zealand, where, among other things, you can see a lot of animals: dolphins and seals, deer and hares, parrots and kiwi.
