Amedia is a small multi-colored village located on the top of a hill in the Iraqi province of Dohuk. According to legend, in the vicinity of the village Persian sorcerers and priests, who were famous for the art of sorcery, lived. It was the place, according to some researchers, from which Biblical three magicians went to Bethlehem to worship and present gifts to the baby Jesus.
