WASHINGTON, D.C.
Spend a nice day going paddle boating along the Tidal Basin
There’s something interesting and so beautiful about watching the famous D.C.’s biggest monuments from the water of the Tidal Basin. Go paddle boating on a warm spring day, pass the famous Jefferson Memorial and catch hot sun rays, while rushing between the blooming cherry trees branches.
DELAWARE
Stroll Along the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk
Go along boardwalk that still offers all strollers its vintage vibe. One mile long gives you an opportunity to enjoy the Kohr Brothers cone, a frozen custard with different flavours. If you are still hungry, visit Arena’s Deli and buy some tasty sandwiches there.
FLORIDA
Climb up the Shark Valley tower
Lazy tourists can take a tram tour around the zone of the Everglades National Park. But more adventurous people can struggle with the humidity and take a bike tour. Here, at the centre of the park, there is an observation tower. Climb it to have a panoramic view of the multitude of alligators that are hiding in the swamps nearby.
GEORGIA
Visit the Olde Pink House in Savannah and dine there
This pink Southern restaurant was refined a lot of times and played different roles throughout the history – a residence, a bank and an army headquarters. And it seesm that James Habersham, the home’s owner, wasn’t so happy about this. The patrons of this house say that they have reportedly seen Mr. Habersham’s ghost strolling the bar. So it’s better to take your Pink Lady raspberry lemonade, go out and roam along the Savannah River outside.
HAWAII
Climb the Stairway to Heaven
If you want to enjoy spectacular views from above, then climb the Stairways to Heaven, as long as you keep in mind it’s technically illegal. But you won’t regret anytime soon, that is for sure!
IDAHO
Drive Interstate 90 across the Panhandle
Drive fast along 75-mile zoom across Idaho’s top portion to understand why driving is one of all Americans’ free time activity. Make a stop at Coeur d’Alene for having a cold beer.
