Li River Cruise from Guilin

Lijiang river, which encircles the Guilin City is one of the cleanest rivers in China. It proudly bears the name “the Pearl of the Guilin Landscape”.

The source of the river is 70 km north of Guilin in Xinan County, near the Cat’s Mountains and its length is more than 420 km.

Depending on the season of the year, there are many wonderful cruises up to 80 kilometeres long from Gulin to a small village Yangshuo.

The landscape is going to blow you away with a fantastic Li river winds as a silken belt among thousands of incomparable hills and mountains. Out of nowhere, they loom out of the mist and disappear again, as a mirage from an ancient fairytale.

The mesmerizing beauty of these lands had captured the attention not only of potential tourists, but also that of Hollywood cinematographers, who shoot the film “The Painted Veil” based on Somerset Maugham’s novel Patterned Cover.
