Visit the Butter Cow at the Iowa State Fair that celebrated its 105th anniversary this year
For many years master artists of five generations have been sculpting the Butter Cow statue for the State Fair. It has been a tradition of celebrating fair since 1911. The statue of the Butter Cow that weights 600 pounds could butter 19,200 slices of bread.
KANSAS
Try some Oatmeal Stout at Gella’s Diner & Lb. Brewing Co.
Once, Gerald Wyman‘s wife asked her husband to stop brewing beer at home. A couple of years later, Wyman bought a small shop and made a charming modern storefront and soon he got a Gold World Beer Cup Award for his famous Oatmeal Stout – dark ale beer.
KENTUCKY
Drive along the Bourbon Trail and drink (but not vice versa) along the Bourbon Trail
On your way you will past eight of Kentucky’s distilleries from Jim Beam to Maker’s Mark, where you can taste the best Kentucky bourbon. If you can’t resist the temptation to try bourbon and operate your motor vehicle afterwards, then you can hire a party bus.

Visit the French Quarter Festival
If you are on your visit to New Orleans, Louisiana, don’t miss the opportunity to spend three days attending the free of charge festival of jazz music that takes place here every spring. Watch the sunrise from the Cadillac Mountain
The Cadillac Mountain is located in the Acadia National Park. The highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard is 1,530 feet (that is 466 meters). It’s also the first place to view the sunrise in the United States from October 7 through March 6. Take a hiking tour around Acadia National Park and enjoy the perfect views of the untouched nature.
MARYLAND
Crack and eat a crab at Cantler’s Inn
Visit the waterfront restaurant and the crab house known in Maryland as the Cantler’s Riverside Inn. You can arrive here via boat or car. Crabs are sorted here before your eyes. Order a dish of crabs and accompany them with a lot of Old Bay seasoning. Mmm, delicious!
