The life of Johnny Ward is a dream that came true.
We want to tell you how he achieved all his goals and now enjoys the life of a millionaire. His travel blog named OneStep4Ward, which he started by being an ordinary traveller without a penny in his pocket, has evolved over time into an online marketing firm that he can now manage from any place in the world. Ward built his career himself, and that allowed him to travel to any country in the world for more than 10 years already. Oh yeah, it’s worth mentioning that Johnny Ward earned, during his travelling craze, about 1.5 million dollars up to this point.Johnny was born and brought up in Ireland. He and his sister were brought up by a single mother, and they lived on a state allowance for a while. Ward entered the British university and studied the international economy. Being still a student, he had the idea of travelling around the world after finishing the university.
He earned his first money for travelling, by teaching English lessons in Thailand. For two years, Ward hitch-hiked around Southeast Asia with a small backpack behind his shoulders and a budget of 10-15 dollars a day.
When this money was over, he created the OneStep4Ward blog. Soon Johnny began to earn about 7 thousand dollars a month.
Ward began financing other blogs, hired editors, invested money in real estate and eventually earned $ 1.5 million.
His dream of seeing all the countries of the world came from his love to discover something new.
“At some point, I focused on creating a life that would allow me to become free.”
And for 10 years, Ward’s main goal was to visit all the countries on the planet.
It takes the blogger about three weeks to research each country. And he prefers to walk around the country, neglecting any means of transport.
Things that Ward always has in his backpack – wallet, iPhone, passport, MacBook and “maybe a little hair gel.”
“If I have these five items, I will survive anywhere. The rest of the things I can easily buy. “
Johnny visited even those countries where getting access is quite a daunting task. For example, Tibet.
A lonely Chinese policeman.
Brazil.
The last country that he is going to visit is Norway.
Travelling inspired him not just to study the world, but also to help people. Now Johnny Ward finances the construction of schools in the poor areas of South-East Asia, where he began his journey having little money in his pockets.
“I am calm, knowing that I not only learn more about this world, but also help it become better.”
