October in Paris is rich in events. First, in the culinary capital a large gastronomic event called Week of Taste is held. During it, you have an opportunity to taste French food, attend master classes and just enjoy thematic days: holidays of choucroute, spices, cider and fish. The week ends with a holiday of chestnuts, which is celebrated throughout the country.

If you go to Paris first of all for tasting, be sure to have enough money in your budget for this. You can have a bite spending about 10 euros for it, but a full lunch or dinner will cost you 20 euros or even more.

Also in October, the festival “White Night” is held. It is the program which includes exhibitions, performances and light shows on the streets of the city. A contemporary art fair and Comic Con are also take place in October here.

Air temperature: 0-10 ° C.
Water temperature: 7-11 ° C.
Cost of living: from 4$ per night.

In October, Baikal has relatively comfortable weather, but there are practically no people due to the end of the tourist season. At the same time, golden autumn creates real miracles with Baikal nature. If you are a photographer, romanticist, mushroomer or just tired of the city fuss, then here you will definitely be able to relax.

You can stop very close to the lake, for example, in the village of Listvyanka, or in the more lively Irkutsk – and make outings to nature from there. It is better to think of excursions in advance (still it is the end of the season, and all the programs come to an end), but at the beginning of October many of them are still available.

So, you have a wide range to choose from for your wonderful holidays in October. Have fun, guys!
