I was born and educated in Switzerland and traveled to the Yukon in Northwest Canada in my late twenties, looking for adventure. I found that in spades and explored the Canadian Arctic, as a prospector, fisheries biologist and bush pilot for the next three years. Later, I went to Halifax on the East Coast to go back to school, studying oceanography. During the late eighties I had my own company designing, building and applying deep-sea cameras for world markets. Later I patented an environmental biomonitoring method which I am still trying to commercialize. I have been single for more than thirteen years and start pursuing artistic endeavours again - drawing, photography and collecting original art.
