All roads lead to Rome or – Where to go for this weekend?

All roads lead to Rome. Hope at least some of you have watched this romantic comedy about one casual meeting of former lovers at this wonderful place – Rome. But today we aren’t going to spoil this film. We want to offer you to take a tour around one of the most beautiful cities of the world – Rome. If you haven’t been there yet, lplease, come with us! We are going to start!Rome wasn’t built in a day! Which goes to say one day isn’t nearly enough to roam this city and enjoy all landmarks and attractions it has for tourists on offer.

Here you have the chance of walking around the astonishing historic sites of The Colosseum, an oval amphitheatre situated in the centre of the city of Rome, built of concrete and sand in 72 AD..

…or roam around The Roman Forum, a rectangular plaza that is surrounded by the ruins of some important ancient Roman government buildings. The ruins of the Roman kingdom’s earliest temples, including the ancient former royal residence, the Regia (8th century BC) and the Temple of Vesta (7th century BC) are still situated in this location.

If you like exploaring the antiquity, then you shouldn’t leave Rome without visiting The Pantheon –  the “temple of every god”. It is a huge building, a real architectural masterpiece, built in 126 AD.

If you like this city and want to come back here again, you shouldn’t forget to toss a coin into The Trevi Fountain, that it is the largest fountain of Baroque style in the city. It’s one of the most famous fountains in the whole world.

Walk on foot this great city for a breathtaking experience. Visit the cosy Italian cafe and have a taste of the real Italian pizza, drink a cup of perfect espresso or enjoy yourself with the traditional italian dessert – gelato. Go to the Italian restaurant where you can enjoy some traditional Italian meals like fresh pasta with succulent fried artichokes or stew with a tender oxtail.

Spend your afternoon shopping at The Campo de’Fiori or the Via Veneto market places. Don’t forget to bring your friends some memorable souvenirs from Italy.
