My journey to Dubai

As any romantic person and real travel lover I could not say no when I have received the invitation from my old friend to come and visit her in UAE, Dubai.  Whole Arabic world was a mystery for me and I was about to pull the cover off!

dubMy flight was booked in the middle of May.  After 4 hour flying finally my feet touched the ground of Dubai Airport.  Quickly finished the registration I went out and … felt like I’m in microwave! High temperature mixed with humidity caused breathing problem! But maybe because I was so excited to discover the new world for me and definitely to see my old friend I adapted very quickly.

What can I say about my first impression? Dubai is just fancy & modern city with a lot of big boards and skyscrapers.  After my friends picked me up all I could see on our way to the restaurant – a lot of cars and a lot of malls.

skyskrDubai is Arabic country with strong Arabic culture but very opened for visitors. You can find here a lot of bars and night clubs, every month famous bands coming for performance. During my staying in Dubai I spent my time walking, swimming, eating and definitely shopping.

Dubai has the largest mall in the world. You might consider it like a different city. World famous brands, a lot of activities such as skiing, aqua zoo, cinemas etc. and huge food courts – you can find them all in one place.

foodFood in Dubai is never ending conversation. The amount of coffee places, shisha places, restaurants, cafes, fast-food counters is just incredible.  Some people even call Dubai as Food Capital of the world. Whatever you are looking from food you will find here, in UAE.

What do I like about Dubai? It’s very safe country, good roads and thousands of opportunities. From other hand I doubt if I could live there permanently, for me it’s more tourist country. But for sure I will pay a visit next year!
