Meet a traveler who became famous on Instagram thanks to impossibly beautiful photos of nature taken all over the world

To get a dose of inspiration before traveling, we advise you to look through the Instagram feeds of this German photographer. 26-year-old Daniel Ernst has a hobby – photography. He travels to the remotest corners of the planet to explore them and make amazing photos of beautiful local landscapes there. For three and a half years of sharing his works on Instagram, Daniel has already more than 222 thousand subscribers who closely follow his expeditions.Glyfrabai waterfall in Iceland.

For several years he visited New Zealand, Norway, the Faroe Islands, the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Iceland, Switzerland and Austria. In an interview with the Daily Mail Daniel said that most often he takes a car for rent or buys a bus ticket to get to the path, which leads him to the reserved places. Sometimes transitions take even couple of days.

As a true traveler, he is always ready for any accident. “I always carry a map, a mining lamp, a first aid kit, lightweight insulating clothing and a raincoat. And of course, all necessary accessories for my camera – batteries, tripod, lenses, remote control – are always in my luggage. Depending on the trip, I take a sleeping bag, a tent, a gas burner and provisions,” – he says.

Although a self-taught photographer, combining a hobby with its engineering skills, he grew up in Frankfurt, but spent the last few years in New Zealand. He says that this is the brightest place he has ever visited. “There is such a variety of landscapes that you can find all the countries I’ve visited, in just one”, – Daniel admits. Although most often he explores the world alone, sometimes he shoots himself against the beauty of local landscapes.

“I’m trying to draw a line between nature and man. Therefore, on most of my pictures, someone is in the background of the landscape. So I can show the scale of the landscape, and those who are looking at the photo can imagine themselves on it. “

“With my photos and stories I want to inspire people, causing desire and motivation to leave behind all the vanity, escape from routine, go out, explore and feel nature. We are lucky to have many opportunities in this world, the main point is to realize them all,” – says Daniel.
