Hi, my name is Amaliya and I am a student in Economics here in Kiev, Ukraine. I am writing this because I would like to share my life experience with everybody, with the hope that it can help change others’ lives too.Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to go see the world. I found it absolutely fascinating that there are so many cultures around the world, waiting to be discovered, so different than that I live in and I have always wondered what it would be like to be able to travel everywhere, without any boundaries. I could say it has been a long time dream of mine. However, I have never had the opportunity of leaving my hometown, although I always wished to.
And that is when I met Dave. Dave is a businessman living across the ocean, in Italy and how I met him is the real story here. I used to hear a lot about different social networks, websites promoting social interactions and especially traveling and I immediately became interested.
I looked over the internet for some relevant sites and I came across one that seemed very interesting to me at that time. It is called meets.com (btw, you can get right to my profile following the link:))) and among the features that looked so appealing was the fact that, as a girl, I could benefit from a free account, as compared to guys, who had to pay a monthly fee for the same thing.
The second interesting thing is that meets.com is not a matrimonial platform, in the sense that it does not encourage amorous dates, but merely traveling meetings.
This means that there are a lot of guys there looking for female partners to travel to various worldwide destinations with them, to have fun and essentially experiment all the world has to offer.
It did not take long to meet Dave, a 40 year old businessman from Italy, who was looking for a jovial girl to accompany him in a road trip to Australia, no strings attached, everything on his expenses. You can imagine how my eyes nearly burst out of the orbits. It sounded too good to be true. Then my exhilaration grew when he contacted me following the message I sent him.
He was interested in attracting me to his voyage and we chatted for few days, just to know each other a little better. Then, a week later, we departed and I must say I was a bit nervous. After all, I was leaving with an unknown man and his travel buddies to a far location, almost at the other end of the globe. But since Meets.com seemed to be quite a reliable platform, I took my chances. There is no gaining without risking a little bit. And the risk paid off big time.
I have probably had the time of my life and I got back from Australia 3 weeks ago. We have spent almost a month there and you could not believe the adventures we have gone through.
I remained in touch with Dave since then and he is planning for another major trip 6 months from now. As you can imagine, I can’t wait to go for another ride and I can definitely say I am living my all time dream right now.
