This Instagram couple spontaneously went to Iceland for a week and stayed there for more than a year

Adam Biernat is a Polish photographer who is head over heels in love with Iceland. Together with his wife Marta, he runs a blog dedicated to this amazing country. He called his blog “Bite of Iceland” (i.e “A piece of Iceland”). In this blog the couple tells about everything related to traveling to Iceland, as well as about what living in this country is like.

Adam says: “One day I woke up with a strong sense that it was time to go into the unknown. I packed my suitcase and together with Marta, we went to the mysterious region of Iceland. We stayed there not for one week, and not even for two weeks, but for 18 months …. We crossed the lava fields, ate shark meat, fought with hurricane-force winds, barely escaped from a volcanic eruption, and received great pleasure from Iceland in general.”

It was an unforgettable trip and now let’s have a look at this wonderful country which Adam and Marta were able to capture while taking photos there.

“All this time I have documented all of these huge empty spaces, alien landscapes, intermediate points, trying to catch the essence of Iceland. This is not the end of our adventure. Try the taste of Iceland with us!”…
